Biography
I have been madly making things with my hands ever since I could. Why? Who knows
Working with collage allows me to explore possibilities that only become apparent because of the nuances of the materials.
I love cutting paper and seeing how I can transform the flat into the 3D.
I love working small.
Painting is like an adventure for me each time, I am never sure where I am going to be led.
I love color.
I have been influenced greatly by Indian, African,
and
Mexican artwork.
I have worked with children a lot over the years
and
their art has influenced me.
All I know is that if I am not doing enough artwork,
I begin to feel like a part of me is not healthy and needs replenishing.
